Kuradocs supports London2Bruges charity cycle ride

Congratulations to our very own Sabina and the team for completing the gruelling London2Bruges cycle ride over the weekend! It was a tough journey by all accounts, but everyone made it there and back, albeit not in one piece!

On Friday May 19th a number of parents (including Kuradocs very own Sabina Mangosi), relatives and friends of Kew Riverside Primary School in Surrey are taking part in a 255km (in 36hrs or less!) cycle ride challenge from Kew to Bruges to raise funds for the development and improvement of the school field.

The money raised will go towards creating and maintaining sustainable vegetable and fruit plots, providing Forest School education, sourcing gardening supplies and building an adventure playground for the children.

Kuradocs is very proud to support this wonderful initiative and salutes the time and investment all the riders have made to take part: the majority of the cyclists were total novices as of January 2017 and have committed time, energy and quite a lot of hours on two wheels already to ensure they are ‘challenge ready’!

We will be tracking their progress over the 36-hour journey and wishing them well as they tackle the road ahead and raise funds for the school.

Season’s greetings

It’s that time of year when many of us are writing ‘To Do’ lists, getting stuck with sticky tape and wondering if there is such a thing as too much tinsel! We have to admit that the Kuradocs team have already raided the Christmas chocolate and in true Bake-Off style, the mince pies are coming thick and fast!

It has been an amazing year for Kuradocs and we want to send a big THANK YOU to everyone for being part of it.

Earlier this year the team were thrilled to support the Paralympic Parade of Light in Aylesbury; we have also met some great and inspirational contacts at the various exhibitions we attended throughout year.

Can it be true? Disability Living Allowance form at the push of a button?

We’ve listened to you telling us about , the volume of information you need to collate, the high levels of stress and the length of time that completing a Disability Living Allowance Form can have. To help make completion of the form less stressful and quicker, you can now auto-populate fields on the Disability Living Allowance Form with the unique details you store in your Kuradocs account.

Newsletter Autumn 2016

Welcome to the Autumn edition of the Kuradocs newsletter. There is definitely a chill in the air, the nights are drawing in and the team here have swapped their sunhats for woolly hats in anticipation of those cold days!

Kuradocs is the inspiration of Nicola Murgatroyd, whose own experience of looking after a daughter with complex needs highlighted the challenges faced by parents in caring roles. We put some questions to Nicola on her inspiration for the development of Kuradocs. You can read her responses here.
